About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
Follow Amelia, a stressed and overworked gamedev (or as people in the industry call it... Just a gamedev) through a surreal trip with three distinctly different game modes.
The door shuts behind you and the sound rings eerily throughout the office. Wasn’t this place bustling with activity just a few minutes ago? What happened to everyone?... And what was that in the corner of your eye?
Explore a surreal office… and more!
Kenopsia is an adventure game where you travel between different dimensions to find your way out of an strangely empty office populated by visions from its past.
Follow Amelia, a stressed and overworked gamedev through a surreal trip with three distinctly different game modes:
Each of the modes depict the games narrative in different ways, from fully voiceacted narration and conversation, text-based dialouges, to pure ludo-narrative. Each a part in telling the story of Amelia.
Ultimately, though the games themselves are very different, Kenopsia is a game about what it is like to be overwhelmed, stressed, and alone, and the importance of daring to lean on others.
Team Cwab is a group of 13 developers who came together at Futuregames Academy to create an ambitious and creative experience over 6 months. Just like the mighty crab we are hardy yet respectful, dedicated and hardworking but with a playful sense of humor and a soft and caring heart within. Plus, we both go great with tartar sauce.

Follow Amelia, a stressed and overworked gamedev through a surreal trip with three distinctly different game modes:
- A first person adventure game in a strange 3D office environment, where you search for clues and solve problems to find your way forward.
*A challenging 2,5D platforming game, where you jump between precarious platforms over a neon-glowing data-sea.
*A 2D top-down fantasy gatherer-brawler. Set out from a beleaguered town with your trusty hammer at hand to gather the resources needed to save it. Battle against the demonic hordes trying to destroy your home.
