About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Master Foot is a football management sim focused on club building and off‑pitch decisions, with all the drama and banter. Play Career Mode for planning and long‑term strategy, or Street Mode for controlled chaos and fast roguelike‑style runs.

You into those old‑school football manager games like Elifoot or Football Manager, where you become the coach and suffer have fun running a team?
Then meet Master Foot: a football management game with a modern look, street‑football soul, and a spicy dash of roguelike chaos.

Master Foot is a football simulator focused on club management and off‑pitch decisions, without losing the banter and drama that come with running a football team.
Right out of the gate, the game comes with two modes.

  • Career Mode – for players who love planning, spreadsheets, squad building, tight budgets, and that endless grind for promotion.

  • Street Mode – for those who want controlled chaos, quick runs, and ridiculous decisions, full roguelike vibes.

In Career Mode, you can:

  • create a club from scratch or pick an existing one;

  • build your squad, set up tactics, train, and tweak the lineup before each match;

  • buy wonderkids, sell deadwood, and try to keep that star player who wants to double his wages;

  • fight for promotion and aim to be champion of the whole thing.

The idea here is to be the “more serious” mode of Master Foot, but still with a proper football vibe.
And yes, I’m developing the game with easy mod support in mind: custom players, teams, and leagues, so you can turn the game into whatever competition you want — or just download everything ready‑made from some football maniac who loves having every detail organized.

In Hood Mode, forget formality – this is pure chaos.
I took inspiration from roguelike/roguelite games to build this mode, and it works roughly like this:

  • you start with a draft... pick one player out of three until you’ve built a full squad… a very average one;

  • you jump into a sequence of matches with limited lives; each defeat = one life gone;

  • before and after each game, random events pop up that can change everything:

  • transfer offers to buy or sell players,

    • situations where you have to pick between bad and worse… and occasionally something good,

    • chances to earn tricks and relics that help you dominate the street leagues.

On top of that, players level up, gain personalities, styles, and talents, and your team gets more unhinged and unique over time.
If you lose all your lives… that’s football. You go back to the start, buy some permanent upgrades, and try a new run, tougher and more street‑smart than before.

One thing I really want in Master Foot is for players to feel like real people, not just stat blocks.
So on top of their attributes (ATT, DEF, PAS, TEC, SPD, STR, GK, STA), they also have:

  • Personalities – enforcer, ball hog, locker‑room joker, choker, locker‑room leader, mercenary…

  • Styles – brick wall, ball thief, playmaker, long‑shot cannon…

  • Talents – special skills that unlock as they level up.

Winning on fair play alone is easy. The hard part is winning dusty street tournaments.
In Master Foot, especially in Hood Mode, you’ve got a whole arsenal of “questionable” tools at your disposal:

  • Cinnamon Coffee – that cheeky speed boost for your wingbacks;

  • Ice on the Knee – a miracle fix to recover stamina in the middle of a war;

  • Friendly Whistle – that criminal tackle the ref somehow “didn’t see”;

  • Relics and talents that turn ordinary players into local legends.

The fun is in mixing all of that with your tactics and squad to discover busted strategies and push your run as far as possible before you finally get knocked out.

Master Foot is a project by Brothers in Game (a game studio that… if everything goes right, will be my full‑time gig one day, lol) and it’s basically us — I mean, me and you supporters — trying to make the kind of game we’d actually love to play ourselves.
