Mazewar

Mazewar is a remake inspired by the first-ever multiplayer first-person shooter, dating back to 1973. Modernized and subtly enhanced with new mechanics, this recreation keeps the original spirit alive and pulls this forgotten shooter into the present.

Traverse through mazes, battling enemy eyes, compete against friends on servers in this grid-based, vector-graphics shooter.

New features that set this version apart from the classic include:

• Quick Join:
Automatically searches for an active online match and connects you instantly.

• Start Online Match:
Creates a new online match that any player can join. You can also invite friends directly through the Steam chat or your friends list.

• Start Offline Match:
Starts an offline session designed exclusively for playing against bots.

Online Play Note:
Mazewar uses P2P networking, so latency will depend on the distance between players and the quality of their connections.
