About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
Protect Earth and her colonies in a roguelike deckbuilder inspired by ’90s mech anime and Greek mythology. In MECHBORN - YOUR MECH IS YOUR DECK - Unlock mech parts and pilots, craft custom decks and unleash devastating combos as you fight to repel the Kaiju incursions!
Key Features
- Your Mech Is Your Deck - Swap Mech parts to change the cards in your starting deck and unlock new strategies
- Never Run Out Of Cards - Avoid wasted turns by always having 7 cards to play from
- Card Position Matters - Activate powerful buffs when positioning them next to ‘support’ cards or slots in the conveyor belt
- Discover Mech & Pilot Synergies - Unlock 3 mechs and 12 pilots, each with their own unique skills and combat styles
- Fight Freely With No Fixed Paths – Decide when to push forward or backtrack to safety across 3 ever-changing maps
- Multiple Ways To Play - Campaign, Daily Challenges, Custom battles or fight to sit atop the leaderboard in Swarm Mode!
Earth reels under an unrelenting Kaiju assault. In response, TITANCORE forges the 'MECHBORN' - elite pilots strong enough to endure the brutal toll of 'Mech-Synchronization'.
YOUR MECH IS YOUR DECK
MECHBORN features 3 Mechs, each having 3 unique armour sets to unlock across 4 slots: Head, Chest, Arms and Legs.
Every part you equip adds new cards to your starting deck, so how you build your mech directly shapes how you play:
- Equip a matching set to unlock distinct playstyles with powerful starting combos
- Mix and match parts across sets to craft custom decks that suits your playstyle
- Every run is different - swap parts between runs, with endless synergies to discover
Never Run Out Of Cards
MECHBORN replaces the traditional hand of cards with the Conveyor Belt: a flowing queue of 7 cards to fuel countless possibilities:
- A new card slides in every time one is played, so you never run out of options
- Always plan ahead - with 7 cards always available, your next move is never a mystery
- Use pilot skills to reposition cards - setting up devastating combos before you need them
Card Position Is Everything
On the Conveyor Belt, where a card sits is just as important as what it does.
- Attack and Defence cards form the backbone of your combat - but their output can change depending on which slot they're played from
- Support cards are entirely ‘position dependent’ - some thrive on constant movement, others demand stillness, and some hit their peak when placed next to Attack or Defence cards
- Pilot skills let you reposition cards mid-combat - set up the conveyor belt with precision to unleash devastating combos
No Fixed Paths
Explore an ever-changing map across 3 continents – Where you go, when you upgrade and how deep you explore is up to you.
- Push deeper or backtrack – carefully decide how you balance fuel, health and credits or suffer the consequences
- Buy, remove & upgrade cards – Discover shops and vendors, then revisit when you need to
- Factions scattered across the map may offer aid — or look to stand in your way
- Abandoned labs hide powerful Infusers that can transform your Mech's capabilities
Every run brings a different map, different encounters and different decisions for you to make.
12 Pilots. Endless Possibilities
Each pilot has 4 unique combat skills, powered up with each card you play - the more you play, the more powerful your pilot becomes.
Reposition, transform and copy cards mid-fight to reshape the conveyor belt in your favour, or unleash devastating attacks at the perfect moment to turn the tide of battle!
