About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
A hand-drawn 2D action platformer set in neon noir: Explore ruins/dream worlds, master the sai and magic scepter, accompanied by pets/mounts, and confront the shadows of loss and memory. Atmospheric, story-driven, single-player.
Enter the dream. Escape the dark.
In Obscura: A Sleep Worth Dying For, you play as Obscura – a small, sharp-witted girl wandering through surreal dreamscapes drawn straight from her mind.
Every world reflects its fears, hopes, and secrets. Some are eerily beautiful; others… are better left forgotten.
Armed with throwing sais and magic scepters, strange pills that grant fleeting powers, and the occasional sarcastic remark, Obscura must navigate twisted platforms, lurking shadows, and dream logic that plays by no rules.
Will you wake her up… or keep her dreaming forever?
