Pixel Rush: RTS

Pixel Rush RTS is a fantasy real-time strategy deck builder where every monster, spell, and evolution comes from the deck you bring into battle. Summon units onto the battlefield, evolve them into stronger forms, cast spells at key moments, and fight for control of towers in fast-paced real-time matches.

Pixel Rush RTS combines the planning and strategy of a deck builder with the pressure of a real-time strategy game. Build your deck, read the battlefield and time your plays to provide the most value possible. 

Summon and Evolve Monsters

Battles unfold in real time. Strategically spend your mana to play or draw cards, summon monsters onto the map and evolve them when the timing is right.

Monsters can evolve during battle, turning early units into stronger threats. Time your evolutions carefully: a well-timed upgrade can break through a defended tower, save a wounded unit, or turn a losing fight into a push.

Monsters that are weak will automatically flee back to the home base for a free healing aura. This leads to a snowball effect in the late game where there are more engaged units, evolved monsters and conflict happening simultaneously in different sections of the map as the game develops and ramps up for an intense end game.  

Some fully evolved monsters come with additional abilities to summon base level monsters to join the fight for free. Experimenting with all the different evolution chains and learning each monsters strengths and weaknesses is part of the fun. 

Build Your Battle Deck

Choose the monsters and spell combinations that define your strategy. Rush the battlefield with low-cost creatures, build toward powerful evolutions, control the battlefield with an onslaught of spell choices, or create a balanced deck that can adapt to different situations.

Your deck determines what you can summon, when you can evolve, and how you respond when the battle turns against you. The alpha build currently contains 9 spells and 24 monster cards to choose from, representing 7 unique evolution chains each with their own strengths and weaknesses to be discovered by you. More monsters, evolution chains and spells will be added as we get closer to release!

Strategic Spell Usage

Bringing the right spells in your deck, and casting them at the right time is key to consistent success.

Some spells have immediate effects on the battlefield and target enemy troops like poison, freeze or direct damage. Other spells can be used to buff your own monsters abilities like speed, attack, healing, or immediately evolve any monsters caught in the spell radius! 

Another class of spells can be used to fundamentally change the default behavior of monsters. Spells such as Siege or Brave can be cast on monsters in order to change their pathing behavior dynamically on the fly in the middle of combat - like favoring to capture and destroy towers or ignoring the standard flee behavior and remaining in combat regardless of monster status for that final push to victory. 

Fight for Map Control

Victory is not just about spawning the biggest army or the strongest troops. Capture and defend towers, control territory, manage fog of war, strategically use mana to choose the best timing for your next rush. The battlefield momentum can swing drastically as monsters clash, towers fall, and new cards enter your hand.
