To explore and survive, players must gather the remaining resources on the infected planet, investigate buildings and facilities, and craft the equipment they need to survive.
Players must be prepared for danger at all times, and against the threat of marauders, players must build strongholds or craft powerful weapons and armor,
Gun attachments and customizations that can be unlocked using skill points earned as players level up, allowing them to shoot more accurately and reliably in combat.

While exploring the diverse terrain, players will be able to navigate up and down buildings and structures through parkour-like actions such as double-jumping, wall-running, and sliding with the help of assistive devices.
