About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
Pug Trouble is a fast-paced, bite-sized action game with light roguelike elements, featuring 5 compact levels that are partly randomly generated for replayability. Blast through destructible blocks, collect valuable gems, and fight your way toward the exit while taking down enemies along the way.
Pug Trouble is a short, 5-level, partly randomly generated action game in which you blow up blocks to collect gems and search for an exit while destroying enemies along the way. You can upgrade your drill between runs and fight a level boss on the last floor of each level. Your choices determine how you build your character, and since the game is short, you can experiment with various builds. Each level can be replayed as many times as you like until you unlock and complete the final boss level.
Story
At first glance, the pug seems ordinary, but being close to his owner has made him aware of the human world outside—its problems as well as its beauty. To cope with and understand these insights, he escapes into his dreams.
Additional Information
The game is made in GameMaker Studio 2 and can be played with an Xbox 360 controller, or you can choose between two keyboard control schemes: WASD or arrow keys. There may still be several major improvements or expansions before the full release.
