Stratum Descent is a micro rogue-lite deck builder that combines strategic card crafting with perilous hex exploration. You wield a unique set of cards, each customizable not only in terms of its effects but also its cost to play. The rarity of a card determines the extent of customization available, empowering you to forge a truly formidable deck.

Embark on a thrilling journey to conquer the elusive stratum lords, navigating through progressively challenging layers of dungeons. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of elements, including events, cities, and monsters, as well as discover even more powerful cards, mystical stones, and coveted relics.

Status Triggers add more strategy to your deck building. The majority of the status effects have conditional effects that can be applied when played. Each card has one effect that is considered the main effect, and when the card is played additional effects can are played.
Played a card with a burn main effect? Melt any ice on the target and cause blindness.
Played a card with a poison main effect? Add weakness status if the target is also bleeding.
Played a card with a heal main effect? Increase regen potency on yourself.
Played a card with a ice main effect? Turn water and bleed effect on target into additional ice.
