The goal of The First Mine is to mine as much gold as possible to achieve a high score at the end. There are different game sizes and difficulty levels to choose from, as well as several characters with unique traits for varied gameplay.

In order to increase your yield per round, you can observe different requirements and tasks when placing resource tiles. In addition, there are random game events like trade, raids or natural disasters that can influence the game in a positive or negative way.
