About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Build an Indian wildlife reserve, rewild habitats, design safari routes, and capture breathtaking wildlife photography. Balance ecosystem health with ecotourism as you grow from local park to global conservation icon.

Build and manage your own Indian wilderness reserve in The Great Indian Safari—a wildlife photography management simulation where conservation and tourism must thrive together.

Witness India's incredible biodiversity like never before in games. Bengal tigers stalking through sal forests. Asian elephant herds crossing monsoon-swollen rivers. Leopards lounging in fig trees. One-horned rhinos grazing in tall grasslands. Sloth bears, wild dogs, gharials, and dozens more—each species with authentic behaviors, habitat needs, and ecosystem roles.

Follow the stories of legendary animals with names, rivalries, and destinies. "Scar" the one-eyed leopard defending his territory. "Matriarch" the elephant grandmother whose wisdom guides her herd. "Ghost" the elusive white tiger seen once per season.

Witness births, mourn deaths, and watch young animals come of age—each life event brings unique photo opportunities and lasting reputation impacts.

Rewild habitats and introduce species carefully. Watch ecosystems develop as predator and prey find balance, territories form, and wildlife behaviors emerge naturally from systemic simulation.

Your reserve's health depends on species diversity, habitat stability, and careful conservation—neglect any pillar and watch your ecosystem crumble.

Photography isn't a feature—it's how you prove your conservation works. Wildlife moments spawn dynamically based on ecosystem health, animal traits, and random events. Capture common sightings, rare behaviors, and legendary encounters.

Every photo is scored on species rarity, action, lighting, composition, and proximity risk. Chase that perfect golden-hour tiger hunt. Document a leopard cub's first climb. Capture the arrival of Ghost.

Score above 85 and watch your shot go viral, triggering visitor surges and revenue multipliers that last for days.

Design safari routes that bring visitors face-to-face with unforgettable moments. Build footpaths and jeep circuits with conveyor-like automation—splitters, mergers, and switches balance visitor flow while you focus on strategy.

Serve eight distinct visitor types: Foodies seeking local cuisine, Thrill-Seekers wanting close encounters, serious Photographers hunting the same shots you are, Luxury Tourists expecting premium lodges, and more. Each arrives with different budgets and expectations. Design for specific demographics or build broad appeal.

Your reputation rises on two interconnected pillars—and neither can carry the other.

Ecosystem Health: Species diversity, habitat stability, conservation success, ecosystem stress. A neglected ecosystem fails silently, then catastrophically.

Ecotourism Health: Visitor satisfaction, photo moments, facility quality, financial sustainability. An empty park cannot fund conservation.

Progress from Local Park to Rising Destination to Regional Landmark to National Treasure to World Heritage to Global Icon. Higher tiers demand excellence in both indices—single-focus strategies hit walls.

The wilderness doesn't follow your schedule. Monsoon migrations shift entire herds overnight. Rare species appear for 24-hour windows—are you ready? Mating season triggers territorial fights and dangerous behaviors. Poaching threats demand immediate ranger response. Disease outbreaks create quarantine zones. Flash floods reshape your paths entirely.

Every crisis is an opportunity. Every opportunity carries risk.

Assign staff pools—Veterinary, Ranger, Guide, Hospitality, Operations—to facilities and let systemic simulation handle the rest. No micromanagement of individual workers. Habitat quality, breeding cycles, and visitor satisfaction emerge from smart placement, not constant adjustment.

Focus on the decisions that matter. Let your reserve breathe.
