What this game is, in the developer's words
A first-person mythological RPG of vengeance, prophecy, and the cold weight of fate. Sigurd and Arnthor, sons of a fallen chief, sail home to settle a blood debt — but the Norns have already woven a darker thread, and beneath the stone of the old country, the Great Serpent is shedding his skin.
The chief is dead. The pyre is lit. The oath is already sworn.
The Great Serpent Beholds is a first-person mythological RPG. The dark seam where Norse and Slavic myth bleed into each other — a saga of vengeance, kinship, and the buried voices that refuse to stay silent.
At the funeral of the warlord Grimnir, his sons Sigurd and Arnthor reject the elder Farlaf's counsel of harvest and peace.
