This game was made for my NMU CS120 Winter 2025 semester final project. It is a text-based game where you use number inputs to control the game through the console. Open JDK no longer needs to be installed and added to your systems PATH do not be alarmed when a Command Prompt window opens.
You are a claim jumper, you must make your way back to Missouri for another chance to receive a claim in Oregon. This game was made for my NMU CS120 Winter 2025 semester final project. It is a text-based game similar to games like The Oregon Trail, where you use number inputs in order to make decisions that control the game played through the console. You will have to deal with random events with success based off of random chance and manage resources because there has to be some fail state or the game would be boring.
Open JDK no longer needs to be installed and added to your systems PATH. Do not be alarmed when a Command Prompt window opens, that is the game.
