About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Your royal fountain spits out more gold than anyone could ever spend, and cleaning it up is somehow your job. Sweep coins, sell them, draft upgrades, hire goblins, trolls and a cat, unlock a big web of skills, then feed your whole fortune to the Glutton King. You can never lose. The gold never stops

There is just TOO MUCH GOLD

Your fountain erupts coins all day. They pile up on the grass, they rot, they jam the fountain, and when there are enough of them they weigh you down so much that even the music starts to drag. You cannot die. You cannot fail. But the gold keeps coming, and somebody has to deal with it.

That somebody is you. The King. With a magnet.

 What you actually do

- Walk around the meadow, pull coins in with your magnet, and sell them at the castle

- Every level up deals you 3 upgrade cards. Bigger bag, faster boots, a new hire, or a face-down mystery card if you feel lucky

- Build up your court: robot helpers carry gold, goblins smash crates, trolls grab coins and throw them across the whole map, a plumber keeps the fountain running, a goose lays coins, and the royal cat throws thieves out of the kingdom

- Spend points in the skill web. Cheap upgrades near the center, strange ones at the edges: sell coins by stepping on them, grab coins out of the air, get 4 cards in a draft instead of 3

- Random events mess with the field every few minutes: gold rushes, earthquakes, jackpots, a coin plague, a gold meteor, raider attacks

- Watch out for the thief. Get a cat. Or a troll. Or both.

- At level 100 the Glutton King rises. Pour your entire fortune into him until he bursts. After that, endless mode.

You really can't lose

No death, no fail state, no timer. If the floor fills up, the screen shakes, the King gets slow, the fountain clogs, and the music goes wobbly. Then you clean up and everything is fine again. The game saves your run all the time, so you can quit whenever you want and carry on later.

Features

- A complete run from empty meadow to the level 100 finale, then endless mode

- 28 skill nodes, including keystones that change how the game works instead of just adding percent

- 9 kinds of hired help, each with its own little routine

- 10 random events

- Draft cards on every level up, with paid rerolls when the hand is bad

- Pixel art drawn entirely in code, chiptune soundtrack, controller support

- Constant autosave

- Small download, runs on anything
