The Specter Chronicles is a cyberpunk visual novel that combines text-based adventure with turn-based tactical combat.

You are a Specter, a highly-trained enforcer of the Warden who rules over humanity as a godlike algorithmic entity. You have suffered a severe memory loss during a mission to track down the Prophet, a rebel leader who defies the Warden’s regime. With the help of a neural engineer, you must restore your memories by reliving them.

Defeat your opponents using a unique combat system

Engage in turn-based combat where you can combine 6 basic attacks into combos, counters, and feints.

Tailor your gear to suit your fighting style

Install mods into your weapon and armor to infuse unique properties and functions, such as adding bonus points to an attribute or granting a buff during combat.

Randomized runs

The fragments of memories that you encounter during a run will be randomly drawn, allowing you to revisit the memories that you want and discard the ones that you don’t.
