About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
A traditional roguelike experience with many unique twists awaits you. Tiles makes you stronger, collect permanent stats on procedurally generated map. Trigger movement pattern combo of items to get even stronger. Guess in riddles what the Nadirat is all about.
The Nadirat
For eons of time, a mysterious creature has ruled over a place called the Nadirat. Now it's your time to change that. Challenge the Boss to a duel, while you prepare your stats and abilities on the way. The Boss will also become significantly more powerful, gaining the abilities you didn't choose.
Every step matters
In the unique tiled map, tiles means permanent stats. Slain enemies give bonuses based on their type. Items grant effects based on movement patterns. To advance to the next level, you need to slay the required number of enemies in a limited number of moves, choose your path poorly and failure awaits you at the very next step. Tactics you choose will have to be adjusted according to the passive abilities of the 64 planned classes.

Uncommon ability system
The scalings and costs are designed to change in effectivness based on map level, picked up stats, or how big your casting resource pool is. Unlike in other regular roguelikes to use abilities on enemies you need to be adjecent to them, and to use self-empowering abilities on yourself you can't be facing any enemies.
Interactive storytelling
Who's the Boss? How did you get there? What is the Nadirat? Explore the world in a series of unique riddles inspired by Zen Koans, accompanied with illustrations. Questions have multiple correct alternatives instead of a one set solution. To progress further you need to provide one of them. Just like in Koans, when you reply wrong you recieve feedback based on how close you were to the 100% correct solution.
More to come
Relive the Nadirat as it changes during time with seasonal content. We'll keep adding new classes, abilities, riddles and other mechanics. Eventually you will get to explore even the world outside the Nadirat.
