About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
You came to hunt a vampire. Instead, you're trapped in his sprawling Gothic castle. You must hold on to your dwindling faith and dismantle his defenses before Nightrise — or become his prey in this single, story-driven experience.
Vampire Hunter: Nightrise is a story about a hunter confronting pride, doubt, and the limits of his own belief.
Faith is not narrative flavor — it is a core gameplay system. It functions as a finite, dynamic resource that influences combat, exploration, and survival. As conviction weakens, the castle’s influence grows stronger. You'll have to manage faith as carefully as ammunition.
The vampire’s castle looms on the horizon — a place where many hunters have entered... and none have returned. You step inside, armed and confident… but the gates slam shut behind you.
The castle is no ordinary fortress. Its halls shift and loop into each other, riddled with traps and secret passageways designed to keep intruders wandering until the vampire awakens — and when he does, you’re finished.
Your only chance is to master the labyrinth itself. Fight off the castle’s twisted minions in tense FPS combat, uncover the hidden mechanics of its passageways, and carve a path to the vampire’s chamber before Nightrise.
Werewolves. Skeletons. And things with names best left unspoken. The castle crawls with the Vampire’s minions — and you only brought so many stakes.
Smash wooden furniture to craft more ammunition.
Line up your shots with the stake launcher to pierce multiple enemies — or pin them to walls.
Fire through flame to ignite your stakes and burn your foes alive.
The castle was built as a maze — a sanctuary for its master, and a tomb for intruders. Fireplaces rotate, bookcases shift, portraits conceal hidden corridors, and staircases reshape themselves. Every passage leads deeper into its design, every door a new deception.
You’re not the first to try. The corpses of failed hunters litter the halls, their notes whispering secrets about passageways, traps, and things better left forgotten. Can you learn from their mistakes — and survive long enough to face what sleeps beneath?
The sun is setting. Every corridor you clear brings you closer to the heart of the nightmare. When Nightrise comes, it will all be over — One way or another.
