The Demo for Vampirii has been updated. Amiella Xena, a fortune teller, has rented a shop near the Promenade. She is ready to help starting players with tips and fortune-telling.

About the Game

Welcome seeker. Please, take a look at this new take on a vampire story and tell us if it piques your interest.

What is Vampirii? A Ren'Py-based, choice-driven visual novel that features non-linear game play with the possibility to be played indefinitely. The features include:

• 140,000+ words of story and dialogue.

• "Living" as a vampire. Feeding is not something that you do once, It is a way of life.

• Persistent game zones that react to your actions.

• Leveling and perks.

• Endgame. Yes, a Ren'Py novel with an endgame. And it works.

• Quest chains, presented in a realistic, believable fashion.

• A new threat to vampires, never seen in games before, necessitating novel solutions.

• Several player lairs.

• Romance. You can avoid it entirely or plan a full play-through around it.

• Combat encounters (unlimited supply) with increasing variety and unpredictability.

• You can be evil. What is the point of good choices if they are the only ones?

• Left for dead system, depending on the time at night and type of enemy.

• Ability to beat the game without doing the "Main Quest."

• Gradual expansion of the game universe, alongside progression.

• Multiple endings. Some endings are "final" and some let you play indefinitely.

• Alternative ways to reach certain story milestones.

What is the main premise? You wake up as a vampire and before figuring things out, stronger beings teach you a quick lesson. Together with friends (or alone) you have to negotiate the danger and survive. Vampirii presents the concept of vampirism in a novel way, staying away from some tired old cliches, while still remaining faithful to the fundamentals.

Immerse in a realistic gameplay loop. If you were to ask yourself "What would it be if I really woke up as a vampire?" then this game is for you. Manage blood levels, pay attention to the time of night, address the wear and tear of your clothes, and try to raise money for those hard-to-get things, while not making it too oppressive to be fun.

What does the Demo include? The Demo contains the raw version of what would be Act 1. It is better to look at it as a "free Early Access" to the first part of the game.

Vampirii also explores the idea of the purpose of vampirism. Friends and foes in the game may offer their insights about this to you, the player. If you choose the main line, part of your path will be uncovering the nature of your new condition and answering the question of "why?". Still, some of the elements of vampirism may remain hidden to you until the very end.

Hunt and feed as you wish and bear the consequences of your choices. Some say that power does not corrupt - it simply allows you to show your true face. Are you ready to reveal yours?
