About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

You and your partner are taken to a mysterious facility where communication and cooperation are your lifelines. This asymmetrical co-op adventure will have you uncover secrets that will shape the fate of Tomorrow…

You and your partner wake up inside mysterious pods. Strange machinery is buzzing around you, and the world beyond the glass is one you no longer recognize.

A calm, confident voice guides you through the unfamiliar facility, equipping you both with useful tools as you puzzle your way through a list of assignments together.

Left with many questions and few choices, you carry out the orders given to you.

Each assignment brings new asymmetrical puzzles that can only be solved through cooperation and trust. You will often find yourselves separated, relying solely on your walkie-talkies to communicate. It’s up to you to describe what you see, share what you know, and piece together the truth as one.

With every puzzle you solve, you’ll come closer to understanding why you and your partner are here and what your role is in the facility. Only together you can decide what Tomorrow will hold.

Key Features

  • Two-player co-op: Solving these mind-bending puzzles takes two. Communicate through your walkie-talkies and become each other’s eyes, ears, and mind to master them.

  • Asymmetrical puzzles: Each Explorer has an individual experience, and yet your fate depends on working together…

  • Distinct character abilities: Besides communication tools, both Explorers have their own abilities they need to use to overcome obstacles and progress together.

  • A mysterious story to unravel: Explore a retro-futuristic facility filled with uncharted areas, advanced technology, and dark secrets..

  • Teamwork and friendship: Success depends on how well you and your partner can rely on each other when it matters most.

The We Were Here Series

Every game in the We Were Here Series is a standalone online co-op adventure – the stories are connected but you don’t need to play them in order.

Playing with your friend and communicating well is key to the escape room series: asymmetrical puzzles give players different perspectives and can only be solved together.
