Whispers in the Fog is a first- and third-person psychological horror experience focused on atmosphere, exploration, and uncovering a deeply personal mystery hidden within a haunted forest.

You awaken alone in a rain-soaked wilderness with no memory of who you are or how you arrived. Armed with a flashlight, you step into a world swallowed by fog where distant whispers echo through the trees and shadowy figures move just beyond sight.

Guided by faint voices and fragments of forgotten memories, you explore decaying landmarks, abandoned villages, cursed tunnels, and rotting cabins scattered across the forest. Strange artifacts, torn journal pages, and cryptic symbols reveal pieces of a disturbing truth that challenges your perception of reality.

Gameplay

Exploration and discovery lie at the heart of Whispers in the Fog. Players begin with a flashlight and a worn backpack, gradually collecting tools, clues, and artifacts needed to solve environmental puzzles and unlock new paths.

Each location tells its own silent story through environmental storytelling and interactive elements.

Abandoned villages, forgotten tunnels, haunted structures, and fog-covered cemeteries form a vast interconnected world filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Encounters and combat

The forest is not empty.

Strange entities and shadowy figures roam the fog, drawn to the echoes of your past.

You must rely on the tools you find to survive:

• A flashlight used to reveal, repel, or disrupt supernatural threats

• Improvised melee weapons such as pipes, crowbars, or axes

• Limited firearms that provide temporary protection in desperate moments

Combat is intentionally tense and restrained. Some encounters can be confronted, while others are better avoided.

Survival depends on awareness, observation and the courage to move forward even when the forest whispers for you to turn back.
