What this game is, in the developer's words
Use Skill-Based Taming to collect pets to explore a Procedural Action-Adventure RPG World. Progress your character and your pets through fighting, questing, trading. Will you choose to protect nature from mana drills or advance civilization by slaying the Animal Gods?
TAME RIDABLE PETS
Tame any animal with the lasso mini-game to gain a companion that you can level-up, ride into battle, and fight along-side! They even have elemental pet abilities...
EXPLORE INFINITE BIOMES
Explore an endless procedural fantasy world, discover the depth of biomes filled with living creatures, villagers, and natural features... to find all the hidden secrets.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER
Roleplay and design your character from 5 different fantasy species, face, hair and body shapes. Then level up and specialize in your class unlocking skills in the skill tree.
MASTER YOUR WEAPONRY
Fast-paced dynamic combat featuring different weapon types, dash-dodging, and a charged/mana ability system. Combat emenies with special elemental abilties and behaviors.
QUEST & TRADE
The main quest depicts the struggle between civilization and nature through choices that lead to different boss fights and allegiances. Eventually, these choices will impact the World of Wildaria. Villagers and bandits populate camps, villages and ruins. Converse, quest, trade, and even wager some coin in a game of Trailsweeper with the townsfolk!
BATTLE GODS
Delve deep into procedural dungeons defend yourself from dangerous wildlife, encounter larger-than-life animal Gods, and acquire epic loot.

INSPIRATIONS
GBA Era
The pixel art graphics are inspired by GBA Era titles such as Zelda, Sword of Mana, Pokemon Emerald, but with modern computer-rendered shaders for a more natural wind-swept foliage and water graphics. The Gameplay is a more modern take on action-adventure RPG's from the GBA era with endless replay-ability lent from the procedural nature of the world, loot, and enemies.
Local Wildlife
As a solo game developer, maintaining self-motivation and inspiration can be challenging. Nature, more specifically my local Ballona Wetlands area, the last Wetlands remaining in Los Angeles, has become a huge inspiration to me. I guarantee you will discover something new and fascinating if you just look closely and give the smallest bug or flower the time of day.
My Life Mission is to create worlds for others to explore and lose themselves in, while inspiring others to venture out into their local wildlife.
